Falls Park (Greenville SC)

It was a nice day to walk around this beautiful park in Greenville, South Carolina.  I was here in July, but it has a much different look in November.

Wicked COLD Weather on the Blue Ridge Parkway

I took a drive north on the Parkway today when the weather turned wicked before I got to Craggy Gardens!   There was a cold front moving in very fast.  Yesterday it was a beautiful 70 degrees,  today 38!  I am soooo outta here!  Back to Florida for me!

I love this beautiful Visitors' Center on the Blue Ridge Parkway;  it is state-of-the-art and environmentally-friendly.  The inside is so  nice,  and the National Park Rangers are  very helpful.

All the pretty leaves are gone!

It got really foggy and cold QUICK!

This will be the last photo of me wearing my silly hat!

(But, it really served its purpose keeping my head warm!)

Art Stroll (River Arts District, Asheville NC)

It was a beautiful day for the twice-a-year Art Stroll at the River Arts District in Asheville.  All the studios were open, and you were welcome to go in and see artists create their masterpieces.  It was wonderful.

Everybody is welcome - humans and dogs!

Nice music on this beautiful day.

I love seeing the artists' studios.

And, if you didn't feel like walking, you could

get the trolley to haul you around!

him in the process of creating them.

After looking at all my photos, I realized that I might like the buildings more than the artwork!  I only had a few pictures of artwork, and a million pictures of the great old historic buildings.  They were all so cool!

It was nice to see so many people come out on this beautiful Asheville day and enjoy the artwork - or just being outside walking around.  It was really a nice art stroll -- plenty of free parking and something for everyone.  I enjoyed it.
