These were a bunch of campers near New River. The National Park Service does an excellent job of maintaining trails and visitor centers around the New River Gorge area. It's very pretty there.
Not sure what this place is about, but it was something important. There are signs all over the area pointing to this town (Gauley Bridge is a town, not a bridge).
